You can’t beat a good well made set of dominos. We have spared no expense when it comes to these little wooden playing pieces. They are so simply but every detail is beautifully done. You will not be disappointed when it comes to playing with these stunning dominos, they are simply beautiful in every way.
Traditionally dominos were made from Ivy, however as ivy is not longer used in the manufacturing of dominos, in recent years plastic or resin is what you will find is most readily available, but for us her at Traditional Wooden Games , wood is our preferred and personal favourite. Available in either honey blonde English Oak or rich dark Amish American Black Walnut, our handmade dominos are the perfect example of how we do things in our workshop. Each domino tile is cut, planed and milled with pinpoint accuracy. We then set to work finishing each domino by hand until prefect and silky smooth. We then apply Superior Danish Oil to the whole Domino set which is certificated as safe for use with children’s toys. They are a pleasure to touch.
What’s included: The set includes all 28 playing dominoes and are available loose or with a handmade solid oak box with lift off lid. The lid can be personalised to make this set of Dominos a beautiful gift for occasions like milestone birthday, wedding anniversaries, 5th wedding anniversaries, house warming or just because you want to lovely set for yourself and family to enjoy playing.
Personalisation: We don’t offer engraving as standard with our wooden dominos themselves, but as with everything we make in our workshop, we are able to add personalised inscription onto the back of a domino tile or tiles if required. However, the optional storage box which you can include with a set of dominos can be personalised with you choice of words or lettering on the top of the lid or underneath the lid.
