Were a group of friends that have grown up been to the same school and played in the same chess clubs, left school, learnt a trade or two and then one day we had to get a present for a major birthday and thought what do they like, what would be really special for them and then the personalised wooden chess board was created and from that point we started to be asked to make them for other people and then other wooden board games followed suit.

They are all hand made in Cheshire by our team of craftsmen and craftswomen using the finest selected timbers, english oak, Maple, Walnut etc
